The CTS 2023 event at Silverstone on October 11th and 12th, 2023, was a moment of great importance for GMA!
CTS 2023 – Motorsport Engineering & Technology Show is an event focused on the world of motorsport that brought together over 70 exhibitors. This event is not just a showcase for the industry but also a place for professionals and experts in the field to meet and connect. On this occasion, we organized two booths.
We accompanied and set up the first booth for Gentilini Power Train, Tessari Luigi & Co., and Alma Automotive. These three Italian companies showcased their products and garnered significant interest from visitors. This was an extraordinary opportunity to present the excellent products from our country to an international audience of motorsport experts and professionals. Our primary role was to act as a bridge between Italian companies and the English motorsport environment. We created customized programs for each company, highlighting their skills and goals and helping them establish meaningful connections in the industry. The results were encouraging. The three Italian companies established significant relationships with British partners, paving the way for future projects and collaborations. This is an important step towards greater integration into the British motorsport market.
The second booth was dedicated to the Italian MotorValley, an area of excellence in the automotive and motorsport sector known worldwide as the cradle of world-renowned brands with a longstanding reputation for innovation and quality. The main goal of this booth was to promote the wealth of Italian automotive and motorsport innovation and tradition. Through captivating graphics, informative materials, and interactions with visitors, we conveyed Italy’s unique heritage in the automotive and motorsport sector. We had the pleasure of representing RPM (Professional Motorsport Network), a prominent organization in the industry of which GMA is a member. The collaboration with RPM amplified our representation and brought even more recognition to the Italian motorsport industry.
A Significant Meeting with Chris Aylett – A Strengthening Partnership
During the CTS 2023 event, we had the pleasure of meeting Chris Aylett once again, the founder of the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and the organizer of the event. This meeting further strengthened the bond between GMA and MIA, who had already connected in May during our event in Modena (link to event article), emphasizing the importance of global connections in the motorsport world.
The meeting was of great importance, as Chris demonstrated an openness to dialogue between Italy and the United Kingdom, as well as the possibility of collaboration between their respective automotive sector companies. The Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) plays a crucial role in promoting the industry globally and providing support to motorsport companies, and CTS23 was an opportunity to reaffirm the common commitment to promoting collaboration between the Italian and British motorsport sectors. This partnership will pave the way for future synergies, allowing Italian companies to access valuable resources and opportunities in the UK.
Our participation in the CTS 2023 event at Silverstone was a tremendous success. We demonstrated the ability of Italian companies to excel in the automotive and motorsport sector and opened the doors to new international collaborations. The enthusiasm of the visitors and the willingness to engage from prominent figures like Chris Aylett are positive signs for the future. We are confident that this collaboration will lead to extraordinary results, and we will continue to work towards promoting excellence, innovation in the industry, and strengthening the relationships between Italy and the United Kingdom in the motorsport sector.
